After the year world had, I wanted to indulge in a harmonious theme for our wedding luncheon by uniting the happy elements from my culture. Set at the edge of table is the "Gunungan" which literally translates to the Cosmic Mountain & the Javanese Tree Of Life. Underneath this, is a fitted acrylic tube that symbolizes the continuous flow of prosperity at both ends of the table. I wanted my distinctive Keris to take its shape from the peaceful pandanus leaf. This design was drawn from the intricate motif of my Batik. A little philosophy flies a bit further...
