When two people share a love for travel & adventure, life leads them to the most amazing places. Vashu proposed to Elena while they were traveling in France, in Paris. And they both agreed they should elope and escape on another adventure for the big day! Elena says, we wanted to organize a celebration in a beautiful European country, but not on the beach. At first, France was considered, as we had been there many times. But we had problems with the documents for legal ceremony and we decided to decline this option. The ideal country for our wedding became Italy - beautiful nature, warm climate, amazing cuisine, loyal legislation for civil marriage and, of course, romantic atmosphere. With the help of Julia from Fior d’Amore , our wedding planner, we chose the perfect location - the luxury hotel Borgo Santo Pietro with a Michelin-star restaurant. I immediately fell in love with this place! It met all our requirements: an old villa with a stunning interior, a picturesque garden, a secluded location, the possibility of an official registration in the nearby abbey of San Galgano. We chose white, ivory and green colors and a touch of gold to enhance the look of the venue, the walls of the Abbey and the surrounding area. We wanted to do something a little different than the usual classic style and kept it very romantic and elegant. The ceremony took place in the Abbey San Galgano, one of the most beautiful monuments in Tuscany. The unique mystic and mysterious atmosphere of this Abbey roofless, built according the rules of Sacred Geometry is the perfect place of form and harmony. Following the ceremony the happy couple and the guests made their way to the villa. The Terrace for Reception was stunning. Everything about this wedding was clean, chic and romantic. This day was a perfect celebration of their love and we are so happy we could be a part of it!
