For bride to be the sooner the better, but most ideal time for client to contact us is 3 months before her wedding. As for party dresses, the ideal time is 1 month before the occasional
How long does it take in general for your client to receive the final dress?
In general for party dresses it takes 3-6 weeks after clients approval. As for wedding gown it takes 2-4 months ofter approval

10% after confirmation of contract, 30% as dated usually before working process, 60% before final delivery
