Yansen & Rika Ethereal Bali Wedding
by Casabono

Updated on 10 February 2020

Having met during their college days in Seattle, USA and been dating for almost 6 years since then, Yansen and Rika finally decided to tie the knot in the beautiful island of Bali. They wanted a simple and intimate holy matrimony overlooking the ocean with their family and closest friends, followed by cocktail and dinner reception at the lawn. The couple wanted an elegant and classy wedding with color palette of white, ivory, light grey, dusty blue, and gold. We draw inspiration from classical white, ethereal feel, and a touch of dusty blue to represent the ocean. Soft and delicate elements are also used to represent the ocean breeze. Champagne gold colors, antique brass, and reflective elements such as mirror and acrylic are used to add elegance and luxury. The setup for the holy matrimony was a simple altar table decorated with dusty blue tulle, white flowers, and gold branches. Acrylic pedestal with white flowers are used to decorate the aisle of the beautiful Majestic Chapel at the Ritz Carlton, a simple setup to accentuate the beauty of the ocean view. Rika and Yansen love crafted cocktails so much that we arranged to fly their favorite bartender from Four Seasons Jakarta to create refreshing cocktails for the cocktail hour. We also added a fun element of donuts wall in the cocktail area as Rika has a sweet spot for donuts. We used mirror and reflective elements for the bridal and guest table. All white flowers with some gold dyed leaves decorated the whole reception area elegantly. Candelabras on top of mirror box were used to add luxury and elegance . For the dusty blue touch, we added table runners and candles. The lawn was also beautifully decorated with fairy lights. Yansen and Rika dated for a year in Seattle and had so many memories there, so we used the bride and groom's favorite places in Seattle as table names instead of using table number to add personal touch. The stationary features beautiful calligraphy and illustrations in gold foil, as well as blue watercolor patterns with gold splatters. We also created a welcome booklet featuring Yansen and Rika’s personal greetings and favorite suggestion for places to go for the guest. Last but not least, we also created a personalized key card sleeve for the hotel key card to welcome them to Yansen and Rika’s wedding. It was definitely a special and intimate night spent with their dearest family and friends
