LUCY & KELMAN NOVEMBER 23, 2019 WEDDING ON THE BALI CLIFFS Venue: Khayangan Estate Lucy had been to three companies before finding me. No one could understand what she wanted; Elegance and Understatement. I could see her dream coming to life as we spoke. She had an extraordinary sense of color and form, and truly wanted her ideas to come to life. We created Monet’s garden for her ceremony including borders of cultivated and meadow flowers in muted pastels. I designed a beautiful wooden tent structure for her dinner reception, as November is the rainy season in Bali. With taupe linen drapes & curtains defining the entrance & sides of the tent, we left the ceiling exposed to the sky with a transparent rooftop that was gently illuminated with criss cross patterns of fairy light strands. Each dining table within the tent featured matching linen cloths entertwined with mounds of meadow & garden flowers, hand colored candles to match the flowers, chinoiserie plates, and vintage blush glassware.
