Founder of WULALA!, Lalu Wu started her career as a visual merchandiser with a passion in styling parties. "My friends would always ask me to decorate their parties. However, it was something that I did on a part-time basis," she reminisced. Realizing how joyful she felt every time she worked on these side projects, Lalu decided to fully pursue her passion. At the end of 2015, she finally took a giant stride of establishing a company of her own.
Although WULALA! is a newcomer in the wedding industry, Lalu's past experience in styling small-scale birthday parties has inspired her to work on once-in-a-lifetime celebrations. "I often dreamed about love and marriage even as a child, so getting involved in the wedding industry became a natural progression from event styling," she shared.
Lalu always injects elements of joy and surprise in every project, which you can easily spot through her handcrafted or restyled props. Additionally, she tries to not duplicate any décor that she has done before for her potential clients. "I believe that every couple is unique, and so is their love story. Hence, every project is customized and two sets are never exactly the same," she explained.
