Co-founders Melfin and Selly have long been inspired by the philosophy of tea. Formerly served only for the rich and elite, tea-drinking has become a lifestyle that can be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of social class. Realizing how that particular philosophy could also be implemented to jewelry, Melfin and Selly then established Tea Label in 2010.
Despite the reasonable price tag, each piece of jewelry is carefully made from scratch. From the initial sketch to the final product, Melfin and Selly are both fully involved in every stage. They also hand-pick and design most of the jewelry parts and materials before assembling them into dainty necklaces, earrings, or bracelets.
Their first foray into the wedding industry began when they created custom-made bridesmaid gifts for Indonesian fashion blogger, Anastasia Siantar. The jewelry was handcrafted and personalized to fit her wedding theme and personal style, then beautifully wrapped into sleek boxes with notes inside. Isn't that such a wonderful idea?
