Born in a city with rich aristocratic antiquity, Sapto Djojokartiko captured Solo's entire cultural heritage. Its traditions, folktales, music, dance and architectural structures are engraved in his mind, thus inspiring him in creating his arts.
He first step foot in the world of fashion in 1997, studying Fashion Design and Pattern Making at L'Ecole Superiure des Art et Technique de la Mode, France. His brand, Saptodjojokartiko was established in 2007 and since then has been grabbing attentions of fashion enthusiast all over the country.
When creating a piece, Sapto always tries to combine, twist, and harmonize different cultural backgrounds and technique. Capturing an emotion from an idea and interpreting his visions, thus creating a mighty masterpiece. The exquisite craftsmanship is not only seen in his ready-to-wear collection which was launched in 2009, but is also apparent in his Bridal collection. He envisions his wedding dresses as one of a kind piece that pictures both the bride's style and personality, making her comfortable in her own beauty.
