Crème de la Crème Bali was established in 2011 by husband-and-wife team, Herry Lay and Tanty Yoyanto. The couple actually started with humble beginnings when Tanty, a former makeup artist who is deeply passionate about art, started making simple cakes for her family and friends. After receiving some positive feedback, she was asked to make a wedding cake, which eventually resulted in Crème de la Crème Bali's foray into the wedding industry.
With a belief that every couple's once-in-a-lifetime moments deserves the one and only wedding cake especially designed for them, they always strive to do their best in creating something unique. What distinguishes Crème de la Crème with other wedding cake vendors out there is Tanty's skillful approach in blending the latest fashion trends, nature, and the couple's vision of their dream wedding as the main inspirations for her wedding cakes.
When it comes to fulfilling every couple's dream wedding cake, there are challenges that must be accomplished along the way. "We had a couple who happened to be wedding cake artists, so the pressure and expectations were high. They were very specific and detailed about their wedding cake and we thought that we wouldn't be able to satisfy them. But finally, we did it and they were happy with the results!" shared Tanty about one of the trickiest projects she had ever completed.
