Marco and Livia were actually schoolmates from Junior High School, but they didn't run in the same circle back then. Fate brought them back together in the year of 2016, where they accidentally met in a church community. From that moment, everything seems to fall together perfectly for the two lovebirds. The couple took a trip to Bali with their friends and visited the majestic Tegunungan Waterfall. Since Marco and Livia were in a long-distance relationship, their friends urged them to take pictures. Little did Livia know that it was all a scheme for Marco to propose to her under the waterfall! How incredibly romantic is that?
Both Marco and Livia wanted a relaxed concept for their pre-wedding album. "We wanted to show how we behave towards each other in an everyday context," explained Livia. They weren't into the whole dressing up in gowns and tux kind of concept. Of course, this was not a problem for the talented crew from Kimi and Smith Pictures, as their pre-wedding styles are mostly intimate and fun. Going to Japan for their pre-wedding photoshoot proved to be a challenge, a fun one that is. "We had to go everywhere by feet because we didn't rent a car, that was the challenge. We mainly relied on Google Maps to find routes, and had to stop a few times to change looks," recalled Livia.
Thankfully, the outfits that Marco and Livia wore weren't complicated. They utilized public restrooms to change their outfits, and Livia even did her own makeup! The couple expressed that they had plenty of fun during the photoshoot because they get to explore the beauty that Japan had to offer at the same time. "My advice for those who want to do their pre-wedding photoshoot in Japan is to prepare yourself physically because you'll be walking a lot," suggested Livia.
We absolutely love the way Kimi and Smith Pictures captures moments where Marco and Livia were naturally being affectionate with each other. If you love it too, don't forget to add it to your inspiration board!
