Fashion blogger and social media influencer Silvia Siantar has officially tied the knot with her high school sweetheart, Adiguna Prakoso. Following a romantic pre-wedding album in Tokyo, Japan was an intimate yet breathtaking wedding held in the very same city. "I chose Tokyo because I wanted an autumn wedding and Japan is indeed famous for their autumn foliage. Adi and I and both our parents also love the city. It's less than 10-hour plane ride, food is amazing, and the people are so polite! We love everything about Tokyo and with the help of Bridestory, we can have our dream wedding come true!" the bride said.
In line with the wedding location, the couple wanted for their guests to experience the traditional and modern side of Tokyo. Which is why the couple decided to have an outdoor ceremony at a Japanese Garden in Hotel New Otani. "It is the most beautiful hotel with the biggest garden, which is so gorgeous during fall. We had to have it here," Silvia said. For the reception, Silvia and Adi steered it to a different course, "We wanted a small and romantic celebration with modern city-light backdrop. Hence, China Blue, a Michelin Star restaurant in Conrad Tokyo was the perfect fit."
When the wedding day arrived, all Silvia had in mind was to have a good time and they did indeed! "The weather was very nice, the ceremony was beautiful, our limo driver was excellent, we even stopped at Barneys and had Blue Bottle Coffee along the way! It was so fun, spontaneous, and romantic," recalled Silvia. That's not all, the reception was yet another level of fun for Silvia and Adi, "The food in China Blue was so good! The chef even prepared 5 kinds of chili sauce for our Indonesian guests who love spicy food. Also, I can never forget that my husband prepared a surprise video with Moreno team. I was so happy, I didn't feel tired at all until midnight!"
After looking at the photos by PYARA, we can truly see how the couple really enjoyed their wedding day. Silvia shared one crucial thing that made it possible, "Keep in mind that everything will not be perfect. There will be something surprising, something that goes wrong, but at the end of the day, it is your wedding. All you need is to have a good time! Make sure your wedding dress isn't too heavy and your hair isn't too tight. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes as well and good luck!"
