This is the second collaboration of Yogie Pratama and Grand Hyatt Wedding Fair 2018 in showcasing wedding dress trends. Titled Dazzle, the designer incorporated elements from 1950s, an iconic era of fashion, into this collection. Ultra-feminine silhouettes that emphasizes on the waist accent and ideal body curves became Yogie's starting point in the design. Mermaid cut, ball gown with bow-accented waist, and drapery play became the highlight of this collection. "Unlike the trends that drive people crazy about things considered current, I want to provide an alternative that goes against it," said Yogie.
A hue of white, gold, and violet was seen on the 27 dresses, designed in a variety of styles from modern-minimalistic to fairy tale style that are customized to each bride's character. According to Yogie, the women he represents are mysterious women with hidden star-quality. "They shine effortlessly from within," Yogie added. Furthermore, he picturized the women who wear his gowns to be women who are true to themselves.
In this line of his, Yogie still maintains his signature material, ostrich. Big sequins applique, as well as a bow play that's arranged intricately, accentuate the dazzling look in a modern infusion.
