Both working in the entertainment industry, Junior Liem and Putri Titian have known each other for quite some time. Who would've thought that their friendship would end up at the altar at last? Even though Tian wasn't sure at first, she then realized that she needed Jun in her life. Jun, on the other hand, had wanted Tian to be his lifelong partner even when they went through some rough patches together. Eventually, Jun and Tian's unique personalities complemented each other and their mutual feelings strengthened their bond.
Jun and Tian had to endure a really difficult planning process, especially with their tight schedule. "Our wedding planning was really stressful. We had to postpone the planning for a while, as we had to shoot a TV series for a few months. Some vendors even had to come to the set at dawn and in the middle of the night for a meeting with us," Tian explained. "We did anticipate a few fights during the planning. In reality though, we argued almost every day, and the pressure made us both really, really sensitive. However, once you've decided to marry someone, you need to be ready to marry their flaws as well. The planning is just a process you have to endure, so don't ever give up!" Tian continued.
When the wedding day finally arrived, both Tian and Jun were nervous and didn't know what to expect. In the end, though, everything was worth it. "We particularly loved the decoration. But what we loved most was the ambience, the feeling of togetherness when our whole family and friends gathered to celebrate our union," said Tian. From the bride:
We had no particular theme for our wedding. We just wanted an outdoor wedding with a classic feel to it. But, it still has to be fun and not dull. That's why we chose Museum Bank Indonesia as our venue, and all our favorite vendors to help us. My wedding dress was extremely special. I never wanted to wear a ball gown in the first place and had originally wanted something loose, simple, and relaxed. But, even before I shared the idea with Jun, he told me to not wear something too simple as it is a once in a lifetime event. I finally met Imelda Hudiyono and told her I wanted a simple wedding gown with beautiful details, and the color shouldn't be white. She then made one according to my personality and I loved it to bits and pieces.
Another tip for your wedding planning, don't wait until the last minute. Ask for help from your family too. Believe me, you'll need all the help you can get. Share all your concerns with your parents and don't think too much. Last but not least, prepare yourself physically and mentally for the marriage that lies ahead.
