Hong Kong couple Ricky and Daphne flew to Macau for their pre-wedding shoot, not just for the beautiful historic architecture, but mainly for the calm and quiet surroundings – a far cry from the manic bustle of Causeway Bay!
Shot by Joe Teng of Acapella Photography, the duo took some magnificent shots inside the Rocks Hotel, where they stayed the night. Later, they took a leisurely walk to nearby attractions to find scenic backdrops. "There are many small attractions in the vicinity where you can get nice shots, even small alleyways," says Joe.
This is was the photographer's first time travelling to Macau for pre-wedding shoot. "It was really amazing and totally a new experience; one of the easy places I've shot." He suggests hiring a driver if you want to explore the city faster, and choose a time of year when there are fewer tourists. "We went to a church and were surprised to see more than 10 couples waiting to shoot there. That was the first time I had to queue up to shoot!"
