It all began on 2011, when Amanda found her interest toward the beauty industry. Before, she had experienced being an office worker, and find her life was a little boring. Then with her hard work, she then soon learn to expand her skills at Cosmoprof Singapore. Even she knew a little bit of makeup, she found a great market where a business as a makeup artist would receive a postive demand, especially at Indonesia.
For almost four years, Amanda had turns out to be so popular in Bali, or even outside the region such as Jakarta and Batam. She had proudly travelled around Indonesia to transform the bride to look prettier, showing their radiant glows. Rather than creating a dramatic makeup, she prefer to play with soft color palletes for looking so natural, not to cover the brides beauty, but to enchance their best features."Makeup are not use to make you feel like someone else, but to boost up your confidence making you like the star of the day."said Amanda.
Instead working with her instinct, she appreciate every brides that might have different preferences and liking. Afterall, she just wanted to fullfill every girls dream to be beautiful. Whether it was dramatic or even natural, Amanda always asks her customers to send their closeup photos, so that she can learn their face structure, imagining what makeup might be good for them.
Amanda had specially make three different concepts for Bridestory, which are natural, Snow White inspired, and Christmas. Turns out each of the concept has some personal meaning for her. While natural is her signature look , she tend to play with soft color palletes and pink blush that pull a feminine yet an elegant touch. While Christmas is made for the festive celebration on creating daily makeup look that can be wear to a party or a wedding. She brush a heavy smoky eye and a touch of red lipstick. Christmas concept can be modified into a more stylish look as Snow White that had been so popular nowadays. Using the same eye makeup, a dramatic blush, and dark red lipstick, you surely will look like a modern princess.
