One Couple's Lavish Four-Day Cruise Wedding

Worlds away, but was able to discover each other, Leo and Seraphine put the saying "love will find a way" to literal meaning. Living life between Hong Kong, Singapore, London, and Beijing, it seemed the both of them are not meant to be with each other, as it is unlikely they will cross paths. But their friend, Amanda never gave up the idea of the two of them being together and decided that her wedding in Mykonos would be the place where their story should begin; and it did. "We spent hours of talking, laughing, and dancing, and through ups and downs along the way we, we finally became a couple," said the beautiful bride.

For their wedding, this couple took their family and friends on a four-day cruise through the Greek Isles which ended at the exotic Istanbul. With themed parties every day, on-location events, a lot of dancing, fun, and of course, a wedding, we think it's safe to say that the occasion was not like any other.

The journey started in Athens with a super fun pirate-themed welcome party that lasted until the dawn. From that point, the ship embarked to Mykonos, the place where the couple first met. For Leo and Seraphine, the island absolutely had to be part of the cruise. Their first day was inspired by ancient Greece so they were keeping the Greece atmosphere with Aegean blue and whites for their decorations, which looked cozy and welcoming. And in true Hellenistic spirit, they had organized group games at the beach of Panormos to keep spirits up and give guests some fun memories.

The wedding itself happened at the stunning island of Chios. Argentikon, a 16th century estate with luxury spaces and lavish surrounding gardens provided the perfect setting for Leo and Seraphine to exchange their vows. Balancing the Aegean blue with the refined and old-fashioned beauty of the historical mansion, it was the best setting to host this intimate yet elegant wedding ceremony. The reception back at the ship was adorned by fruits hanging from the vivid purple and pink flower arrangements spread around the room. It was nothing less than romantic with bright gold and purple with glass tableware coloring the dimly lit room.

To conclude the voyage; Leo and Seraphine stopped at Istanbul and relished in their moments with a romantic stroll at the busy roads and markets of the city, with the imposing splendor of the Blue Mosque in the background. "It took a privately-chartered cruise boat, 1 captain, 2 cruise operation managers, 2 wedding planners, 1 wedding designer, a Michelin Star chef, 18 entertainers, 3DJs, an entire team of photographers and videographers, 6 hostesses and about 40 members of support staff to make this wedding happen. But the result wouldn't have been the same if it not had been for the couple's positive attitude.
