Amos and Putri, or Poe, first met in Perth in 2008 during one of her friend's birthday lunch. "Amos was working at the restaurant. Our friend introduced us and the rest was history," Poe recalled. They dated for 8 years and during the last 4 years, it was turbulent as they had to endure long distance relationship. "We were the on-and-off couple and the proposal was pretty awkward as we weren't even together at that time and there was no ring included," Poe shared further. Regardless of everything, she said yes.
Amos and Poe worked together with Calia Photography's Jonathan Susilo to take their pre-wedding photos. Poe had found Calia Photography on Instagram and she thought the pictures just clicked with her. "The color tone and the mood of the photography spoke to us and Jonathan was the one who we thought can capture emotions at the right time," Poe said.
There were 3 concepts for their album; casual, formal, and traditional. For the casual photo shoot, Amos and Poe shared how they wanted to reminisce the times they shared while living in Perth. We love how they seemed to just be having fun and laughing effortlessly in the photos.The couple put on formal attires for their next concept and even with such dressy attires, the photos still had a very loving vibe to it. For the traditional concept here's what Poe had to say, "I've always had a thing for vintage pictures and Indonesian culture. That's why we decided to get back to our roots and did it with a bit of vintage style."
One thing for certain, in all three concepts the couple looked so much in love and their chemistry is just undeniable. Which was amazing as the couple admitted to being very nervous about getting their photos taken, "It was a bit awkward for both of us as none of us like to pose for the camera. But thanks to Jonathan who gave us support and directions we managed to feel relaxed and the results are awesome! It was a whole new experience for us."
