Autumn is a season loved by many and among those many is this lovebirds. Stella and Weylen shares the mutual love for autumn and the romantic country of Korea which makes it only sensible that they have their wedding completely inspired by the two elements. It is lovely to see how everything was finely made to fit the theme; even the bridesmaid cards and ring box has autumnal leaves on them. Stella wore an alluring off-shoulder mermaid dress with a veil and dressed her bridesmaids in deep marsala tone, while not forgetting to hand them dried baby breaths bouquet for them to hold. The reception was a whole other level. Stepping into the room is as if you've stepped into wonderland. Greeted with lush autumn leaves, candles, earthy tones and pretty blooms, all guests were enchanted by their decoration. Everything looked luxurious and everyone seemed to have such a wonderful time. A little story from the bride:
After 9 years of dating and having a long-distance relationship half of the time, this wedding is really meaningful to us. It was challenging for me to plan the wedding as I don't live in Surabaya. To ease the planning, we decided to do researches and really think through of what we want for the wedding party especially regarding the theme. This allows us to come up with the theme of "Autumn in Korea" as Korean cultures are one of our common interests. Almost all of our families and friends are also able to relate as they know how we are such an avid fan of everything Korean. So we embark on a journey trying to incorporate these details into the wedding, from major items such as the engagement session, invitation card and decoration down to the smallest details such as guestbooks, pens, ring box, bridesmaid boxes and favor boxes. It is amazing to see how our guests were able to feel the atmosphere of Korean autumn as they entered the venue, just like how we want it to be.
