Jian Yuan and Ashley tie the knot at Chijmes Hall

Fans of architecture and history, Tan Jian Yuan and Ashley Ng chose to get hitched at the beautifully restored Chijmes Hall, where they were married by the groom's grandfather and uncle who is a pastor.

While choosing a theme, they hoped for an elegant, understated wedding with an ethereal charm and went with a clean muted palette of white, ivory and light pink. "We were trying to keep the guests in a dreamlike state with the lighting, candles and petals lining the walkway," describes Ashley.

Ashley was an image of beauty dressed in a simple lace bustier gown with sweetheart neckline and tulle skirt. "The embroidery and attention to detail is amazing. I tried so many dresses and couldn't decide on one because they all looked great!"
