Enchanting Traditional Wedding with a Disney Twist

This wedding was such a lovely sight to see! In four hours, Tiwi and Ryo managed to have a traditional Javanese wedding and add a modern twist with a touch of Disney. The results? A pretty, playful, and truly enjoyable wedding celebration enjoyed by all the guests!

The day began with a traditional Javanese ceremony, with Tiwi in a kebaya and Ryo in a matching beskap. Tiwi glowed so beautifully with her paes Solo, a Central Javanese bridal makeup. After the ceremony, they continued with Javanese wedding traditions including sungkeman and panggih, in which they threw betel leaves that symbolized their love for each other.

The couple then took only 30 minutes to transform their wedding into a completely different yet no less charming celebration. The bride looked stunning in her lace dress and headpiece, inspired by Princess Jasmine from Aladdin. Tiwi and Ryo, along with their bridesmaids and groomsmen, then surprised all the guests with an amazing flash mob performance that they had been planning for a long time. As if the night wasn't exciting enough, the groom took to the stage with his band and gave a live performance of a lifetime!
