Traditional Indonesian weddings have never failed to amaze us, for it took us back to the realization of how beautifully diverse the country is. Today's wedding of Chacha and Dico was deeply immersed in the culture of Central Java and we love every single frame.
The procession started on August 22nd, the date on which pengajian, siraman, and midodareni took place. Both Chacha and Dico intently followed each and every procession of the ceremony, showing how much they respect the heritage and culture they come from.
The akad and reception took place on the next day. Chacha was beautifully clothed in white kebaya with the majestic paes ageng crowning her head. After the happy tears of 'I do' the newlywed changed to Solo Basahan attires and went into their reception. Both Chacha and Dico had smiles of happiness and in the photos we can see how grateful they are to have found each other.Take a look at the lovely album below.
