It all started from a simple favor. "A friend of mine asked me to help with his sister's wedding invitations and gifts. Everything else followed after that moment," said Hannayani, founder of The Clementines. Since then, she and her sister Varinia, who co-founded the business, have produced countless wedding stationery and favors, things that they admit have always been their cup of tea.
With an ambition to become a top wedding vendor specializing in stationery and gifts, The Clementines believe that everything lies in personalization and details. "Everything is made in-house, from design to production as well as the finishing touches. We have high standards and only use the best materials for our products. My sister and I even do all the quality control ourselves," Varinia explained. She also mentioned that clients can even request something that is not on their product list. "Basically, we aim to meet each of our clients' dreams," she said.
Doing everything themselves comes with its own challenges. "We require extra hours, commitment, and dedication to do everything from scratch. Sometimes, technical problems can happen during the rush hour," said Varinia. Even so, the team remains positive that these challenges are never a setback for their business. "Mistakes happen and problems are inevitable, but we love our job so we keep going no matter what. We stumble, we learn, we figure it out. That way, we earn new experiences. Just never give up," she added.
