Once in a while we come across a wedding that's so heartfelt and personal that it brings genuine happiness; today's featured wedding is exactly that. Nigel and Weiqi both work in the creative industry making it only sensible that they team up on self-crafting their wedding elements. Going with the rustic-chic theme, the couple personally did their decoration and favors: Weiqi did the painting and lettering while Nigel did the carving. In fact, the couple enjoyed DIY-ing their wedding details so much that they have now set up Common Hands, a line of bespoke and quirky wedding stationery and gifts.
Their reception was an intimate dinner with loved ones in a lovely and warm atmosphere. There was nothing more apparent in the entire occasion but the happy faces of guests and especially the bride and groom. Their wedding truly reflected them as a couple as you can see from their wedding album.

Something from the photographer:
Nigel and Weiqi both work in the creative industry, but never really worked together prior to their wedding. Though they had distinct thought processes and different ideas, they harmonized and made things work. He sourced and carved, she designed and painted. They handcrafted decorations for their wedding venue and personally made each and every wedding favor for the guests. And that's what was most beautiful about it; working hard doing things of significance together. The venue was fixed up to a tee, and everything, from the calligraphy to the potted plans, was a reflection of Nigel and Weiqi - rustic, spirited and radiant.
