Intimate weddings are surely on the rise these days, and there seems to be no end to them anytime soon. Today's lovely wedding celebration was held at the Ritz Carlton Bali in Nusa Dua. With only 160 guests in attendance, the nuptial of Permadi and Margenie was intimate and not to mention, really pretty. Margenie slipped on an intricate white dress while Permadi had on a matching white suit. After the sacred ceremony on the serene chapel overlooking the wide blue ocean, the reception followed. Clothed in white and champagne gold decorations, the site was filled with so much glamour and magic, and even more when the couple walked in.The merry celebration then started. Our favorite moment, however, was the shot of their wedding kiss. It was done in the middle of the first dance, and when it happened, the bursting confetti added plenty of cheer and festivity. From the blushing bride:
The wedding was so intimate as there were only 160 guests at the party, but those are the people closest to our hearts: family and close friends. It was such a dream to be married in such a beautiful wedding chapel, exchanging our vows in God's presence and marrying our soulmate. The holy matrimony was my personal favorite. The chapel was breathtaking, so majestically built with the background of the wide blue ocean. I fell in love with the chapel the first time I laid eyes on it. With only simple and minimalist decoration, the chapel was enough to capture the beauty of that venue, and I believe the guests felt the same. From the holy matrimony at the Majestic Chapel at Ritz Carlton Bali, we continued the wedding reception at the cliff lawn which was so elegantly decorated with pristine white and champagne gold. Huge centerpieces, table runners, flowers and chandeliers on the ceiling, and fairy lights, such a mesmerizing sight.
The wedding dance was unforgettable. We practiced for days to make it perfect and during practice my husband always seemed to be making mistakes or forgot some of the moves, but on the day itself, I couldn't really remember any steps properly but we just kept laughing and enjoying our moment. And there goes the wedding kiss. All in all, we loved the decoration, the cake, the flow of the event, and every detail about the day. But what we both loved most was actually the marriage itself. That we are now married to the love of our lives and we are super excited to build our family and spend the rest of our lives with each other. Surely there will be flaws in the wedding, there will be some photos that are not perfect that I would be dying to repeat the whole wedding reception all over just to get the most picture-perfect moment, there will be some disappointments with the tiny details. But after all, I married the right person and that's all that matters. Until today, it still feels so surreal to be a wife and this happiness seems so never ending.
