Ghea and Saleh are two individuals who wished for various specific details for their wedding. Saleh, in particular, a wedding photographer himself, has undoubtedly seen many wedding concept references. "Since I have seen a lot of wedding themes directly, I really wanted mine to have one particular concept, from the decoration to the attire," Saleh confessed.
Because the lovebirds are not a fan of a colorful combination, only green and white flowers with curved arrangement were chosen. For Nerisa of Elior Design as the decorator, it was a fun experience collaborating with Saleh and Ghea since they have distinctive artistical tastes. "The whole concept is modern with a mix of gold, grey, and a bit of navy blue. We also added graphical elements from their attire to the visual decoration," she explained.
The existed navy blue was transcripted from the invitation design, which was later applied to their reception attire. The modern look attire with a touch of local influence resulted from a brainstorming session with the designer Gendiswarna and the make-up artist Danika Davisca. For akad, Saleh and Ghea were dressed in Palembang traditional costume in vibrant red, which added boldness to the couple.
The application of distinctive elements did not stop there. One of Saleh's unique request was a show-stopping wedding entrance procession. The photographer of Touche wanted an entrance that is similar to a television program calling its guest star. To make it happen, Gege Gumilar Music decided to arrange a special jingle for this moment with help from MC Aggy Rachmawati to lifting up the atmosphere.
One area that was a highlight was the display of Ghea and Saleh's pre-wedding photos, which was arranged in an exhibition gallery-style. "I believe marriage itself is sacred. Thus, the pre-wedding photos should also be treated special," Saleh advised. Along with his team in Touche and a hand from Elior Design, a visual installation with storytelling was created as a focal point at their wedding, which stole everyone's attention.
