After inspiring us with their Balinese and Peranakan pre-wedding shoot, Keisha and Roy are back to share their wedding photos. Initially, the pair wanted to have two separate celebrations in Indonesia and Singapore. "We discovered later on that because Roy is Singaporean, we had to do the wedding ceremony in his country. After much consideration and six months of planning, we decided to cancel our Jakarta wedding and focus on the one in Singapore," Keisha explained.
The couple's venue of choice was the Parkroyal Hotel on Pickering. "If you love architecture, then this is the best place for getting married in Singapore," Keisha said. The bride decorated her venue with lush greenery and white flowers to match the modern hotel's famous hanging garden exteriors.
On the wedding day, Keisha was her most beautiful self. "Marlene Hariman was so kind and understanding about our change of plans. Her makeup was so flawless and I had never felt prettier in my life," she said. The lovely bride had on a classy white dress from Svarna by IKAT Indonesia during the wedding ceremony. "For the reception, I wanted a modern gown that's easy to mingle in. Luckily, Dewangga was able to make my dress only three weeks prior to the big day. The result was beyond my expectations and I can't thank her enough," Keisha continued.
It turns out that her wedding dress wasn't the only thing finished at the last minute. "On a whim, I ordered custom-made wedding shoes only four days before my flight. I thought the shoes wouldn't make it and I'd have to buy a random pair in Singapore. Amazingly, they arrived just in time!" reminisced Keisha.
With only 120 guests present, the intimate wedding was such a joyful experience for Keisha and Roy. "I was really nervous before the wedding ceremony but after that I couldn't stop smiling," Keisha said, "It was the happiest day of my life and I'm glad that our guests could enjoy it as well!"
