As a couple with creative minds, Jana and John are both passionate about having handcrafted details and fun activities in their wedding. Thus, what could be a better reflection of their laid-back personality than a picnic-inspired wedding? For their once-in-a-lifetime moment, the couple went the extra mile in hosting a personalized wedding of their own. As described by the bride, their wedding was a labor of love and they're grateful to have spent their most special day altogether with family and close friends.
A neutral color combination perfectly complemented the lush green fields of CCT Retreat Center in Tagaytay. Jana's bridal party looked festive as her bridesmaids put on mismatched floral dresses and carried a pink-hued bouquet just like the bride did. Meanwhile, all the groom and his squad wore an array of beige-colored attires.Guests sat in an open air setting, as the couples said their life-long vows under a wedding arch adorned with white fabric and a giant wooden cross.
With the open-air venue, rain was the utmost concern. "A light shower threatened us that morning. But the sun shone brightly afterwards, a little too brightly I think!" recalled the bride. The beautiful weather really elevated the mood for their afternoon picnic party that included kite flying on the hill. "It was a beautiful day for picnic, everything was all I ever dreamed of!" reminisced Jana. Other than kite flying, Jana and John also ensured their beloved guests could relax on the low-tables placed upon the lawn, therefore they accessorized the picnic site with printed cushions of their favorite Bible verses. The pair also added other entertaining extras, like making paper cranes and a cotton candy machine. What a way to make your wedding kid-friendly!
