In November 2015, Catleya Dea and Patrick's path crossed in Bali. She was working as a local makeup artist while he was an exchange student from Germany. Patrick's search for a lighter in a bar turned into a meeting that eventually led to the altar. Even the long distance couldn't keep them apart as their hearts kept reaching for each other. "I pushed him away many many times but here he is now, beside me as my husband," Dea recalled.
They held a charming celebration in LADU, a vintage-style restaurant in Dusseldorf, Germany, which is ringed with nature. Their wedding started with a serene ceremony in a small chapel and continued with a close-knit reception. The minimal decoration helped to enhance the authentic quality of the venue and as the wedding itself was only attended by their closest people, an intimate and cozy atmosphere was a given.
Iluminen once again filled the wedding album with astonishing pictures of the start of the couple's happily ever after. The images of their first look, however, is our favorite. Which one is yours? Tell us in the comments below and add their photos to the inspiration board, to create your very own intimate wedding!
