After having a playful idea for their prewedding photoshoots through a mood play with unique natural lightings and gestures, Ivan and Devi went to a more romantic atmosphere for their wedding. The theme was born from their own idea. Since both of them work in design and photography industries, they found it easy to synchronize what each of them visualize on the wedding day.
At their holy matrimony, the no-flowers concept did not make the ambience less beautiful. The decoration, which was dominated by greeneries, highlighted a fresh and humble atmosphere. Every detail, including the wedding bands, accessories and the wedding vehicle were all thoughtfully curated by the couple, helped by Samana Wedding Organizer, to make everything in harmony.
A modest one-off shoulder dress for the holy matrimony and a white sleeveless, sequined dress for the reception, both by Tiffany Liem, were chosen by Devi to adorn her look. For Ivan, he desired a casual suit with a touch of vintage feel made by Open Quarter Studio.
Using a lot of greeneries and gold palettes, Mou Project was trusted to work on a messy but glamorous arrangement for the dinner decoration. Ivan and Devi wished to be captured natural and candid on their special moments, thus they appointed Max Willy Photography for their wedding photo album.
Held at Plataran Dharmawangsa, the 45-invitee dinner reception was led by a host and a friend, Stella Angelina, and entertained by music from Izzat Zulhijman and Shafira Sahara who are also closed colleagues of the couple. Intimate and simple, as what Ivan and Devi have always wished for.
