An Industrial Minimalist Wedding with a Botanical Touch

As a perfectionist, Jessica very much wanted her wedding to go according to her vision, but it seems like she worries for nothing. It took one year for Jessica to plan this exceptional wedding by herself. "We didn't hire a wedding planner, only wedding organizer for the day, so I get to decide on every single detail. It was fun and Rio let me decide for whatever I thought were beautiful," Jessica reminisced.

Their industrial minimalist wedding became even more personal thanks to Rio designing every stationary and the presence of close friends and family. "I never dreamt of having a grand wedding with thousands of guests," she said. In the end, they held an intimate wedding with only about a hundred invites. "It was the best decision because we still remember every moment of it. We also got to see each of our closest friends and family who were also happy for us. Thank God our parents understood our decision as well!" Jessica said.

For her most special day, clearly Jessica was very strict about her wedding dress option. "I had always wanted a dress that suits my personality, something that was simple, classic, but with an edge," she said. She then found Elsie Chrysila through the Bridestory app, "I told Elsie from the beginning that I did not want lace to be the main fabric. She offered me neoprene as an option and of course, I said yes. Elsie also added pearls for the details which was perfect," she explained. Jessica explained further, "I didn't want a long-trained dress so I went with capes instead. The dress turned out better than what I've imagined."

The wedding went smoothly. The groomsmen shared hilarious speeches and the bride's best friend made a heartwarming speech for the couple. It doesn't stop there, the groom also planned a very unforgettable surprise. "Rio braved himself to sing me a song on the reception but he was very nervous and suddenly forgot all the lyrics. He still put an effort to finish it and even though it wasn't perfect, this gift I wouldn't forget," she quipped.
