Annie and Alan's celebration started early as the bride was seen getting ready with her airbrush makeup and hairdo. For this special day Annie chose a sweetheart neckline wedding dress in a mermaid silhouette to complete her bridal look, while the bridesmaids were as mesmerizing clad in identical blush-colored dresses. With a beautiful bouquet in her hands, the bride was then escorted by her bridesmaids to meet her fiancé. We can only imagine their feelings as they waited in anticipation before seeing each other for the first time in their complete bridal ensembles.
The nuptial itself took place in Bulgari Resort Bali which is famous for its contemporary mix of Balinese and Italian architectural style. "It was a breathtaking place on earth, a surreal venue to start our life together," said the bride describing her wedding venue. "I can still feel the warm breeze as we exchanged our vows, and the moment we looked up, we saw petals floating from the sky. Being chauffeured from the ceremony site back to our villa, the feeling of achievement, exuberance and elation would be forever imprinted in my memory "she continued.
For Annie, it was an intimate and personal experience to incorporate her works in the wedding. She even practiced calligraphy for months just so she can hand-write all her guests' names in the escort cards! One thing that we can't overlook from the entire celebration, however, was the marble details Annie and Alan delicately inserted in their wedding elements. Their invitation for instance, was printed over a marble pattern which imbued a modern feel about the wedding.
As the sun sets, the pair treated their guests with an alfresco dinner reception where the tent was decorated with lush greeneries, fabric drapes, and hexagonal lanterns to exude an elegant atmosphere. Changed into her evening dress, the bride wore a champagne A-line dress that featured a fully-sequined bodice. After dinner, the newlyweds celebrated their union once again as they cut their marble-pattern wedding cake beautifully crafted by Butter Bali.
The wedding was everything the bride had hoped for. "It was timeless and breathtaking, a culmination of all our efforts to get to where we were," Annie said.
