When ILUMINEN came to Plataran Canggu in Bali to capture Giulia and Marwan's wedding, they knew it would become one of those weddings that naturally has a beautiful and serene ambiance. There was no brief whatsoever coming from the couple, but they knew that the two newlyweds had a lot of chemistry with each other, both on and off camera.
Giulia is an Italian studying about cultures and traveled around the world pursuing her passion. When she stopped by Bali a couple of years ago, she met Marwan, and the two fell in love. They spent most of their time as a couple traveling and having adventurous in the Island of Gods. Both free-spirited and easy-going, the photographers from ILUMINEN described their wedding as a breeze to shoot for.
The twinkling lights set up above the reception area provides a magical feel to the photos. The Balinese decoration that served as a wedding center piece also created a great attraction for the wedding. A kid's corner made up of small tents made the reception area fit for guests bringing their children. The bride and groom started their preparation in the morning and headed straight for the teapai ceremony. The two then proceeded for the holy matrimony at a nearby church, and once they were officially declared as husband and wife, they hopped on a vintage Vespa and rode back to the villa for the dinner reception.
The dinner reception was when the real fun began. The guests ate, drank wine, mingled, and danced through the night. The soulful music helped set up the right mood for everyone, and the fantastic lighting helped ILUMINEN out with some great shots. Overall, Giulia and Marwan's wedding was one that any bride-to-be would be lucky to have.
