Lala and Andra were introduced by a mutual friend several years ago; sparks flew and the two eventually started dating. The proposal that happened almost two years later was simple and literally sweet. "He asked me to join a private cooking class at Almond Zucchini. After we finished cooking, our food was served in the next room, which had a table for two. He popped the question right after dessert," reminisced Lala. "It was very simple, which made me happy as I don't like over-the-top proposals," she added.
Choosing the right pre-wedding photographer was quite easy, as the pair had already been smitten by David Christover's previous work. "A friend of mine had an engagement shoot with David and I loved everything about the photos. The concept, color tone, everything about them seemed so natural, raw, and real," Lala said.
When the day of the shoot came, everything went exactly as planned. Lala and Andra went up the hills and visited a beautiful private beach in Lombok, as David captured every heartfelt moment. "Throughout the shoot, David kept us so relaxed and happy. We were constantly laughing and the whole experience was very memorable," recalled Lala.
