When two artistic souls with similar taste got together, you know you're in for a beautiful wedding. Jiewa is a food and photography blogger while Ivanna is part of All Seasons Photo. Being involved in the wedding industry definitely has its own perks, one of which is having your friends as vendors for the wedding day. "A lot of vendors say that we're so chill, too chill even. But we think the right word is 'trust'. Yes, we trust our vendors. As they're not only our friends, but we also know that they're the best vendors to execute our wedding theme," explained the groom.
As for the theme itself, we think it's safe to say that the couple cleverly combines elements and trends to make an entirely gorgeous wedding that no other couple has. Green, white, and gold colors were used on the outdoor wedding ceremony, evoking an understated rustic atmosphere. For this special moment, Ivanna was dressed in a white fit-and-flare wedding dress while Jiewa looked equally stunning in a blue suit.
After saying 'I do' to each other, the couple moved the celebration indoors. The dining pavilion of The Shalimar Hotel was already decorated with soft-colored flowers which sat in chinoiserie vases over blue-clothed tables. Greeneries were also present in the whole arrangement, creating a consistency between the ceremony and reception. As beautiful as the setting was, what really captured our attention was Ivanna's floor-length lace cape with giant flower embellishments. It was truly stunning and we've never seen anything quite like it.
Even with all the beauty around them, we loved how Jiewa and Ivanna made the wedding truly special to their hearts in a way that represents their unique personality. Both coffee lovers, the groom set time in the morning to have coffee with his groomsmen and even brewed his wife-to-be a cup! "I know it's true love when he brews me coffee every day, even on our wedding day!" said the bride. In return, Ivanna wrote a heartfelt note for his fiancé that's filled with beautiful promises and end it with, "I will love you completely for all of my life." As for all the guests, the couple also provided a coffee cart so that their guests can also treat themselves to a cup of coffee.
