Sylvia and Tirto's relationship might be proof of how the universe works mysteriously in uniting them. These two individuals with different characteristics met at an acquaintance's wedding for the first time. "From strangers, then became friends, to having a decision to tie a knot, each of us definitely has a mysterious law of attractions since we have contrast characters," Sylvia shared.
Regarding visual taste, they also stand on a different pole. Sylvia always admires the modern style, while Tirto has a heart for traditional elements. In the end, they decided to mix them together with an anti-mainstream concept. Seeing Berawal Dari Teman's portfolio, the couple agreed that the photographer team was the most capable professionals to do their pre-wedding album in an artistically humble style.
At first, the lovebirds only planned for a studio shoot with a simple Javanese theme. However, Krishna from Berawal dari Teman had a dissimilar idea and asked Sylvia and Tirto to explore outdoor setting. "We didn't regret the changed plan at all. The photography team was also very helpful with our wardrobe and location prospecting," said Sylvia happily.
A collection from Sejauh Mata Memandang perfectly matched the contemporary ethnic concept expressed by Sylvia and Tirto. This combination highlighted the casual atmosphere of the photo shoot when they were naturally interacting with each other at Nyanyi Beach. A set of lurik look in front of Karo traditional house, which they discovered unexpectedly at Canggu area, seemed peculiar at a short glance since those two came from different cultures. However, this out-of-the-box collaboration has frankly made the whole look unique and eclectic.
"A chemistry with the photographer was also important because it could help us to enjoy the whole photoshoot session," the brides responded when being asked about her impressions and opinions about the making of her pre-wedding album.
