Diana works as a flight attendant in Singapore Airlines and during one of her flights to Bangkok, she met Damien. Perhaps it was it her smile or how sincere she was as she attended to passengers, nevertheless, Damien was charmed by her. At the end of the flight Damien left a note for Diana on an arrival card stating that he regretted not asking her number. He also provided his contact and asked her out on a date. Fortunately, Diana responded and the rest is history.
Following the wedding proposal, they decided to get married on a gorgeous cliff-top resort overlooking the ocean in Bali. As Diana is Chinese Indonesian and Damien is Australian of Greek descent, the two cultures are harmoniously included in the wedding. Their day started with the first look, during which Diana wore her Singapore Airlines flight attendant uniform to reenact their first meeting. A Chinese style gate-crash and tea ceremony were next. Damien came to pick Diana up, who already looked stunning in a custom-made red cheongsam dress. Damien wore a bright blue suit that contrasted perfectly with the all-red decoration.
For the wedding ceremony, Diana looked so effortlessly alluring in a dress from BHLDN. Under a wedding arch made solely of twigs and white flowers, Damien and Diana tied the knot. The reception that followed immediately after was held at a garden that overlooked the ocean. Soft-colored flowers, greeneries, white linens and geometric elements created just the perfect setting for the couple's celebration. Damien and Diana arrived at the venue accompanied by Balinese dancers. With string lights dimly glowing overhead, the reception ended with a fun Greek-style group dance.
Looking at photos by fire, wood & earth we can really feel how fun and intimate the whole wedding was.
