According to Hillary and Will, their love story unfolds as they met in college. When in fact, the bride was his sister's childhood friend as their parents used to set up a play date for the two of them. At that time though, Will was too cool to hang with his family, so she never met him. Fast forward to 2010, the pair finally met in Sydney during their college years.
"After six years of dating, it's safe to say that there weren't any mushy feelings. I even showed him the engagement ring that I adore!" shared the bride. Thus, the expected proposal eventually happened during a trip to San Fransisco in December. "We were at the airport and he gave me the ring to keep it safe as we traveled on the plane. It didn't matter where the proposal took place and how it was executed, the most important part was that I said 'yes'," the bride reminisced.
The lovebirds prepared their wedding for 18 months and throughout that time Hillary felt the need to control things and plan the perfect wedding. Yet it seemed to be so far away no matter how much she tried. "You just have to learn to love the imperfections. I could only thank God for such a magical weekend, despite some hiccups here and there," she said. Looking at the photos, we can see that the wedding was as magical as she described. The weather was perfect, the flower-filled decoration was just as she dreamed it to be, and her strapless wedding gown was to die for. Around 300 guests attended the celebration and she also emphasized the most important part, to be united with her friend, work partner, as well as handsome husband.
