Nobody would've expected that an Australian citizen like Hamzah who visited Belitung during his holiday could meet his soulmate along the way. On the other hand, Sarah who works as a travel blogger and TV presenter of a traveling program planned nothing more but to explore this exotic island in the east coast of Sumatra. But in the end, both travelers gain something more valuable in that trip. They found love! To make long story short, fate brought them together through their mutual passion in traveling.
Sarah and Hamzah dated for a short time, but both always ensured to fill it with exciting adventures. The groom also became a TV presenter just like his lover. When recalling the moment of her proposal, Sarah explained that it just happened naturally when they visited the Island of God. They were spending their leisure time by the beach. While serenading some romantic words, Hamzah told her how he wanted Sarah to become his wife someday.
Sarah and Hamzah's wedding was envisioned to represent their love journey, personality and hobbies. With the help of their wedding stylist, they executed the concept into an intimate event surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. Green Forest Resort & Wedding was eventually chosen as the place where they will start the new beginning. Just in time for their summer wedding, they took agreed on depicting a wonderful summertime. Surely, the theme will seem harmonious when it was combined with bohemian elements such as macrame rope and a bunch of wildflowers and grasses.
To infuse a warmer and more loving atmosphere, Sarah and Hamzah decided to choose a simpler wedding stage that wasn't too spacious. That way it would be much easier for them to mingle with their guests. Plus, they also planned a surprise performance of Hamzah singing while he was accompanied by the bridesmaids who were ready to sprinkle some petals to Sarah at the aisle. Indeed, they always have their own way to treat their guests. In addition to dancing session, they ended the beautiful day with another yet entertaining activity, which was watching a video together.
