For today's bride, every little detail counts. Sheila's love of details soon drove her to craft most of her wedding elements by herself, from calligraphy to shoes. As she is a talented shoe designer, Sheila wasted no second thoughts before deciding to make her own wedding shoes. Sheila and Bryan successfully balanced out the feminine atmosphere of their wedding with a dose of masculinity. Every detail looked clean and elegant, with a hue of black to give out that masculine feel.
"It's not all about the bride's dream wedding, as we made sure that we considered each other's ideas," said Sheila who made this wedding feel very personal thanks to her DIY touch. "And of course, the most important details of our wedding were our shoes. I made sure that my bridesmaids, flower girl, my groom, and myself were all sheilafied!" explained Sheila. She slipped her feet into a semi-avant garde creation, a pair of sculptural wooden heels with intricate hand-sewn beading. It was stunning and we could not think of a better pair of heels for Sheila's happily-ever-after moments. As she walked down in her handmade dream wedding shoes, professional photographer, Nicolai Melicor, captured every moment perfectly.
