"We chose Modern Heritage as our theme because our family is a mix of many cultures: Sumatran, Javanese, and even Chinese. That's why the theme fits us perfectly, it's not just Indonesia, but it's where our roots began with a modern twist," explained Petty regarding their prenup shoot. Both Petty and Jordan are actually not the kind of people who like to be on the camera because it causes an inconvenience. However, after meeting with the Berawal Dari Teman (BDT) team, they were convinced that the team has the capability to wrap their insecurities with an artistic touch.
Choosing Krishna Pradana as their main photographer, Petty recalled, "The whole process is very comfortable and hassle-free." The two were delighted to find that the BDT team had figured out everything for them, from the location to the makeup artist and stylist. Krishna and team were open to every input from the couple during the shoot, which made everyone more comfortable and the day more memorable.
The couple offered some advice for all the grooms and brides-to-be looking for a photographer for their pre-wedding shoot. "Never be afraid to ask questions. Always initiate conversations with an open mind. Make sure that the photographer's vision that you've chosen matches your visions, don't just choose because they're well-known," suggests Petty.
