With a total of 180 guests, Vonny and Edward celebrated their marriage intimately with their loved ones in the tranquil Pandawa Beach, Bali. When asked about the philosophy behind their wedding theme and elements, the bride said it was mainly derived from their favorite color, blue. Turns out it holds a dear meaning of everlasting love, which was perfect for their happy occasion. "After knowing the heartfelt meaning behind the color, we immediately wanted to incorporate it on our wedding day," explained Vonny. Other favorite colors such white and gold were also chosen to evoke a sense of simplicity and elegance to the wedding color palette.
Inspired by the couple's theme, Designmill Co. incorporated a lot of hydrangea in soft blue as focal point of the ceremony decoration. White roses were also added to the arrangement and pots of twigs were placed down the sides of the aisle. "It was simple and still very elegant, we love it so much!" the bride enthused. Even with an outdoor celebration in the midst of rainy season, thankfully it didn't rain a single drop. "We are so blessed. The villa really brought a heartfelt feeling to the whole occasion. The jazz music by Marcella Music Entertainment also lifted the ambiance really well," said Vonny.
Aside from the mesmerizing decoration and good music, Vonny also admired her Berta-inspired wedding dress by Cindy Tandiyah. The dress hugged her body perfectly and flattered her hourglass figure. Looking back on the day itself, the bride remembered her favorite moment, which was the after party. "It was held in the same villa where everyone just got wasted and jumped to the pool. Shockingly, all of my friends teamed up to force me joining the pool. That's exactly when the rain started to drop, adding a little drama to the fun mischief," concluded Vonny
