According to today's bride, Jo, her wedding to Yuta was more than a simple celebration. "It was such a happy occasion that inspired other couples who attended to take their relationship to the altar," she said. The wedding was held at Casa De Corazon Events Place in Tagaytay, Philippines and decorated with different shades of purple. Bright fuchsia tinted the bride's flower bouquet, and her bridesmaids had on lovely dresses in dark burgundy. The groom was no exception, as he wore a light lavender tie that paired well with his navy suit.
Jo and Yuta had planned their celebration carefully, yet they had to face some major changes along the way. "Halfway through the preparations, we had to change our venue. Even worse, my dress was only finalized three days before the wedding day!" Jo reminisced. Long story short, she had bought a ready-to-wear wedding gown and asked a designer to make alterations. Six months later and mere days before the big day, the dress still didn't feel right. "It was then that I decided to cancel the gown and look for another one, with only three days left to find a replacement," she recalled.
Luckily, the bride stumbled upon an up-and-coming fashion designer on social media. "I asked whether she had any ready-to-wear wedding dresses available. She then sent me a photo of this particular gown that completely swept me away. It looked just like my previous one, but it was better!" said Jo. She went to try on that dress the next day and it was perfect. When the wedding day finally came, everything went just as planned. "It was a celebration of love and so much more," said Jo, "We felt so proud, as the wedding was a testament to our success as a husband-and-wife team."
