Back in 2017, Arthur proposed to Selvia witnessed by a line-up of pine trees. "During our journey, we have experienced a lot of things, which made us the better version of ourselves. So I gathered courage, bought a ring and popped the question," Arthur recalled. With such wedding proposal, it was natural that the couple chose to hold their wedding at a pine forest. After all, it had been Selvia's dream to have and intimate outdoor wedding thus the venue and concept matched her vision perfectly.
The wedding reception that took place in the pine forest of Mount Pancar utilized many wood-based decorations which imbued a natural ambience that added warmth to the outdoor setting. Hanging lights illuminated the scene as if fireflies were lighting up the area and the cafeteria-style dining area created an intimate family dinner atmosphere among the guests. In addition, a food truck parked on the side of the venue brought in a fun but familiar accent to the concept as a whole. Although fun and playful were written all over this wedding, it didn't miss the delicacy that weddings are known for as they still leave traces of pastel colored flowers and dainty little cakes on the scene.
As the sun got lower and happy hearts got warmer, the couple joined in the awaited first dance while the guests carried sparklers to brighten up the space. Soon after, more people took a step into the dance floor as well and celebrated until raindrops concluded the evening. "Everything about it just felt and looked so good. It's all about having a good time after all," said Andre Lesmana, main photographer of the wedding.
In a sum, the wedding was the perfect outdoor wedding celebration. When asked what his favorite part of the wedding was, Arthur simply said "every moment" because how can you possibly choose from the many precious moments of this beautiful forest wedding?
