Just a while ago we were so delighted by the clean aesthetics from the minimalistic pre-wedding album of this lovely pair. This time around Niscaya and Adam captivated us with their artistic nuptial. The more we gaze upon their wedding album, which was beautifully taken by Axioo, the more curious we are to hear their wedding day story.
On this special day, Niscaya got ready accompanied by her puppy and lovely bridesmaids. For the wedding ceremony, she slipped into a pearl embellished off-shoulder wedding dress with triangle back cutting and sleek belt accent. After getting dressed, she posed with her bridesmaids as they hold the gift Niscaya gave, a framed illustration of their silhouette. Such a unique and personal gift, don't you think?
After the ceremony, the bride then changed into her reception dress that was actually a gift from the aspiring designer, Cindy Tandiyah. "I didn't expect it at all and didn't know why she gave me a second dress. She just said she wanted to give me another dress as a special gift for me," Niscaya revealed wholeheartedly. She then told us how the dress was like, "the asymmetrical top was the focal point. I had a belt around my waist as an accessory. For the color, I chose light gold to evoke elegance."
Artsy minimalist was the chosen theme for their special day and the foyer area of The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place was their playground. "We want our guests to feel that they're coming to an art gallery instead of a wedding reception," the bride explained. Decorated by Lotus Design, the whole space was dominated by the color white, with a hint of gold, pink, and green. To match the modern installation, the pair featured fresh baby's breath, calla lily, and orchid flowers in clear vases. That's not all; the couple also provided a vending machine where guests can retrieve their souvenirs. Photographers were also present to take photos of the guests and gave them the printed results immediately. Finally, the jazz string quartet which entertained the guests in the foyer became a cherry on top of the cake.
Inside the ballroom, their wedding stage immediately took our breath away. In fact, their wedding cake was as inspiring as the decoration. With the help of Eiffel Cake, the pair successfully displayed a marble wedding cake with white blooms and gold accent on it. Interestingly, just like how they included their adorable puppy to the pre-wedding session, they even placed a tiny tee-pee-shaped kennel at the reception stage! "For the main event, is the City of Stars duet by Adam and myself which ended with a La La Land musical performance," Niscaya enthused.
No two weddings are alike and this pair only wanted to enjoy the entire celebration. "This wedding is all about God's favor. I feel very happy, blessed and loved," Niscaya said. She then added a bit of advice, "Don't compare your wedding to others' as every wedding has its own story and uniqueness. Be proud and be happy!"
