Television series is what made Kevin and Nadya united. Their relationship was started growing when they shared The Game of Thrones's euphoric moment. When they got to know each other genuinely, they realized that they love to be active and have similar interests, such as playing board games and visiting museums.
Nadya never expected that Kevin would pop the question out during a casual moment like every day's activities. At that time, they were in Perth, Australia, to catch The Killers' concert. One day, they decided to have a picnic at King's Park where Kevin made sandwiches and Nadya brought juices. Suddenly, Kevin put out a ring box and ask the question to Nadya. " "I wish he would have hinted or something, so I would've worn something nice," Nadya told us how shock, yet happy she was.
During their wedding preparation, honestly, this lovebirds did not really think about the visual theme. They just wanted a simple, intimate, warm, yet classy nuptial. Kevin and Nadya really had fun planning their vowing ceremony. "Planning can get pretty stressful, but overall, it was fun," Kevin confessed.
"We tried to put the stress level to a minimum because we wanted our vendors also to enjoy working with us," Nadya added. The first hired vendor was the venue, which was Tirtha Uluwatu through Bridestory Market 2018. Previously, they already had a visual idea of this venue from Bridestory's Instagram. "It was love at first sight," said Nadya when sharing their experience visiting Tirtha Uluwatu directly to settle the option.
"Besides an amazing view from inside the chapel, Tirtha Uluwatu also offered the benefit of wedding organizing. And, they pulled off a fantastic job!" Kevin stated.
Kevin and Nadya also added a reflection of their interest to TV series. On the invitation, they put a quotation from F.R.I.E.N.D.S saying: "It's you and me, right? This is it."
With a total of 120 invitees, the couple admitted that they only had a simple rundown. The makeup started at 11. The holy matrimony began at 17.00, and it was continued with a dinner at 19.00 with light activities, such as opening speech, first dance and cate cutting. "The rest was filled with mingling and having fun with our guests," Kevin explained.
