The wedding of Mich and Sebbie took place in exotic South Africa, though not in the middle of a safari, but in the comfort of a modest café in Durban. Instead of wearing a wedding dress, the bride wore a long white skirt with a blouse that exudes complete elegance. She has a lovely glow even without a flashy wedding ball gown. Her rings were adorned by turquoise gems instead of diamonds, another thing that adds an edgy feel to this wedding.
The two said their "I do"s under a leafy tree, witnessed by their friends and family. For their dinner, the café wasn't lavishly decorated, but just enough to add a rustic feel to it. The mismatched chairs, rope-wrapped bottles and recycled paper all blended in so perfectly to create a wedding-worthy venue. On Valentine's Day, we got to celebrate the love of our dear friend Mich, and her handsome Sebbie— who we literally met the day of the wedding, as they met and have been living in London together. In an intimate ceremony and reception at Freedom Cafe, the event was nothing short of the perfect way for them to start their new life together. I was a guest, but they hadn't hired anyone formal to take any pictures, so I offered to capture the moments for them. So this isn't the traditional wedding, but nothing about Mich and Sebbie is traditional.
