Once Yessica and Ivan decided to get married, the pair reached out to Hilda by Bridestory to get helped planning their wedding which was set in about one year. "I absolutely love my wedding planning process! There were no difficulties whatsoever, just sweet memories. Gisela helped me with almost everything. Unbelievable!" shared the happy bride.
The pair were looking for an outdoor, Bali-looking venue at the very beginning considering their parents were still unsure about the number of guests. Befitting what they envisioned, a semi-outdoor venue in the central of Jakarta was chosen, so it could be upgraded last minute, if needed.
"It was so hard to not follow wedding trend, but I didn't want to regret my decision in the next 10 years. That's why I ended up having a classic wedding with a touch of today's trend," she further explained. With a total number of 900 guests, Yessica and Ivan had their dream wedding decorated by Lotus Design. White-colored flowers with a hint of blush tones on some wedding elements could be spotted here and there. The bride was brushed by her favorite makeup artist Priscilla Myrna, who was able to convey a minimal yet flawless bridal look. When it was time to put on her wedding dress, she looked stunning in an A-line silhouette, full of intricate gray sequins crafted by notable Indonesian designer, Yefta Gunawan.
