The decision to get married in Phuket came naturally for today's couple. After all, the famous beach destination was the very place where Jonathan had proposed to Fiona. Although they had to do some long-distance wedding planning all the way from Hong Kong, the whole process turned out to be more exciting than they had expected. "Planning our big day remotely in Hong Kong was fun. We did quite a lot of research when we were looking for our vendors, but in the end we were truly blessed to have our team!" said the beautiful bride.
Fiona and Jonathan settled on the beautiful Sri Panwa Villa, a stunning property perched on a hillside in Phuket, as their wedding venue. Paying respect to their cultural heritage, the pair started the wedding day with tea pai, the traditional Chinese tea ceremony. Fiona looked flawless throughout the whole procession, donning a red cheongsam that suited her complexion so beautifully.
Later on, the wedding ceremony was held atop Sri Panwa Villa's stunning wooden deck, surrounded by an infinity pool and panoramic views of the Andaman Sea. After the ceremony ended, the villa was then transformed into an intimate reception area decorated with glowing lights, white flowers, and balloons. "It all seemed so 'unreal' when we actually saw everything being put together so nicely in the end. It was definitely a wonderful experience!" reminisced Fiona.
