Miska and Radit had actually known each other since 2012, but it wasn't until three years later that they were properly introduced. As it turned out, the two quickly found relief in spending time together. The pair started dating in March 2015, and Radit proposed to Miska on her birthday the following August.
"There's a saying that important encounters are planned by the souls long before the bodies meet. Therefore, it won't take much time for two individuals to know that they're meant for each other," said their photographer, Celvin of Journal Portraits. This might explain why Miska didn't hesitate one bit to say "yes" despite their relatively short relationship.
As with any other couple, Miska and Radit's journey to become husband and wife wasn't entirely smooth-sailing. They happened to come from different cultural backgrounds, and both families held on strong to their traditions. However, these differences didn't stop them from moving further to the next stage of the relationship. To Miska and Radit, there is a certain beauty in diversity, so they asked for blessings from their parents to plan a multicultural wedding in only six months.
During the wedding ceremony, Miska was beautifully clad in a silver sequined kebaya to match her traditional Palembangese crown. Meanwhile, Radit had on gray attires with gold accents, topped with a metal headpiece. Following the heartfelt ceremony, they held a glamorous reception in the ballroom of Four Seasons Hotel, Jakarta. This time, the pair had changed into a pair of glamorous Javanese attires in jet black. Lush flowers in white and pastel shades could be spotted all over the hall, enlivening the mood as every guest enjoyed this truly unforgettable celebration.
