After sharing their pre-wedding photos shot in Italy, Freda and Leo continue to mesmerize us with a stunning celebration in Bali. "We wanted a garden wedding overlooking the ocean cliff, so AYANA Resorts and Spa Bali was the perfect choice," said the lovely bride. To decorate the venue, Freda chose soft, neutral shades inspired by her love of natural stones. "I grew to like natural stones as a child, as my house is filled with them," she explained. "Therefore, Leo and I decided to go for a marble-themed wedding with hues of gray and dusty jade," Freda continued.
The couple reached out to Tea Rose Wedding Designer to realize their vision. "Sally from Tea Rose is very tasteful and sharp. Thanks to her, we were able to have our dream wedding despite having budget constraints," shared Freda. They were also reunited with Angga Permana, who also took their engagement photos. "Through each frame, he captured all the raw emotions we had that day. The photos are honest, simple, yet touch you right in the heart," she said.
Freda herself looked exquisite in a dress by Sapto Djojokartiko. Inspired by traditional Indonesian kebaya, the gown was sewn with guipure lace throughout, with a very slight mermaid cut. "Since I run my own fashion label, I'm well aware of the complexity and difficulty of pattern-making," said Freda, "However, Mas Sapto managed to pull everything together in time."
As gorgeous as their celebration was, it was not without a few obstacles. "Leo and I were tested to the very maximum throughout the whole process. The wedding planning alone was possibly one of the biggest tests of our entire relationship," she said. "To be able to pass it now, we are more than grateful and blessed," Freda added.
At the end of the day, nuptials are about the union of two people who love one another, and that was what this couple kept in mind. "Leo and I fought so hard for that day to come; we were so relieved, grateful, and content," she said. For future brides, she shared some advice, "Don't be too much of a perfectionist and just let it go. You'll realize how much fun and joy you are missing."
